It is import to acknowledge the use of an AI tool if used in in-house educational information distributed to Cabrini staff.

There are two types of referencing for AI based on if the information is

1. shareable via a URL 

2. a non-shareable link

 

Shareable URL generated by the AI tool:

Author. (Year). Title of software (Version) [Software descriptor]. Publisher. URL

Example  OpenAI. (2023). ChatGPT (Mar 14 version) [Large language model]. https://chat.openai.com/chat

 

Non-shareable AI-generated content

If the URL cannot be shared, then it is recommended that you copy and paste the AI text generated in your notes or appendix of your work.

 Author. (Year). Title of software program (Version) [Format]. Publisher*. URL. Appendix.

Example Anthropic. (2024). Claude [Large language model]. https://claude.ai/chats. See Appendix for prompt used and output generated.
