EndNote Online (formerly EndNote Web) is the web version of EndNote

  • Set up a free account at www.myendnoteweb.com
  •  EndNote Online has similar, but more restricted, functionality.
  • EndNote Online library can be synced with your desktop Endnote libary. This is helpful if you wish to work on the web version remotely and sync your work on the desktop version of Endnote.

Important Points

  •  You can sync your desktop EndNote library with your EndNote Online library, ensuring your library is backed up regularly.
  • EndNote basic users can create an online library with a maximum of 50,000 references and up to 2G of attachments.
  • Create the same log on details for Endnote Online, if you have a Web of Science Account you can cross reference between each platform.
